This past Saturday, Emmett and I headed out along the CNO&TP for a fall color expedition.  The colors still hadn't reached their peak, but were starting to look very nice in a few areas.  Thinking we might end up in Tennesee, we actually only went as far south as Burnside.  A total of 15 trains were seen in the eight hours or so we were actually trackside.

You can read a full, unabridged, and uncensored trip report by clicking here.  Remember, I cannot be held responsible for any material that might be offensive and/or unsuitable for small children and those who love GE locomotives.

And the photos for those who don't wish to view the unabridged and uncensored report...

First up was Z-WSP...er, 26Z at Harrodsburg.

After hanging out in Danville and making a trip up (and back down) the mountain, we caught 40J at South Fork.

Which we were able to get in front of for another shot at Kings Mountain...

After a break in traffic, we caught 229 at Somerset.

After shooting 175 at the same location, we made it to Elihu for 133.

And finally, 224 at Burnside.

Until next time, I hope y'all enjoy and thanks for looking!
