Hey guys,

I got back to Charlottesville on Sunday, and class started on Tuesday. Now that I'm settled in for my last year, I walked to the tracks a couple times this afternoon in the event that I don't have biochem lab this first week. I had turned on the radio and was listening in and heard 94Q close by, assuming that it was the work train I had seen yesterday, sitting in the siding after being tied up. I got a picture just as the last ties were being loaded into MOW cars by a small CAT trackhoe sitting on one of the gondolas. I tried to go to the bridge on down the road for a head on shot, but since it's not finished being built, I couldn't get to a good spot. So I walked back to the road crossing and grabbed a shot while the locomotive was still on.

I went back to my apartment until some southbounds would start running, since you can't shoot northbounds in the evening because it's almost directly in the sun. So I waited until 228 was nearing Cville, and then I walked to the tracks to shoot it and returned to my apartment. Next came 11R, the final train of the evening. I've shot this a bunch of times, but I heard a high/wide on it, so I wanted to see it.

Photo 1: Picking up the last of the ties.
Photo 2: 94Q had just backed into the siding.
Photo 3: 228 comes south through Charlottesville.
Photo 4: 11R passes the stationary 94Q.
Photo 5: KRL 25200 with the high/wide. Anyone know what it is? There is a logo with a "pt" in a blue keystone. (sorry for the terrible quality, I was pretty close with zoom lens...)

Nice shots Josh. That high wide looks like a transformer to me.

Thanks, Paul! And I had gotten that from someone else too, just wasn't sure at first.
