Well I dirtyed up my D8-40C and SD60M      The pics dont really show how well they look in person but here they are anyway

Let me know what ya think

They look like they could actually pull a hundred real  lifesize Top Gons down the track. Great job.

Thanks ! If the pic of the 60 had rails and a blue back drop its hard to tell it's a model ( from far away ) I tried a different method on these two ! I sprayed them first with a dusting of gull gray all over  , then I watered down some dark skin tone brown and concentrated on just trucks and fuel tank ect. I only used black powder for the exhaust areas then a sandy color on the areas where the sanders are! I think some engines look better used

Badhorse, if you haven't already, check out this forum by the guys who do theweatheringshop.com.  Some real amazing works of art on there and the forum is very constructive and friendly.

Thanks I signed up this morning and yes there is some stuff on there that I actually am convinced it's a real loco but nope there models
