Cloud banged pretty bad on this. As soon as the power went by the sun came out like snap your fingers and presto the sun is out.

I'm still trying to figure out my new camera and the proper settings. So far I have been extremely disappointed and blame it on operator error. I'm going to have to break down and go buy some books or take a photography class at Jed Clampett (jefferson community) & Technical College. Everything looks blurry when I look at the RAW images. I'm not sure if my bifocals cause me to be off focus or my 2008 laptop monitor makes the colors so dark or what the deal is.

The focus on these look pretty good.

The majority of the time, if you look at the file (RAW) straight out of the camera at full size, it will not be sharp.  Reducing the size will help to get the sharpness you want, and a little help in your Raw editor wont hurt either.

Does your camera have a diopter on the viewfinder??
