After setting up camp at Palm, I awaited the arrival of NS 142, but after a parade of northbounds, NS 229 came screaming around the corner

Finally after sitting at Palm for 4 hours, NS 142 slowly approaches the signals

As seen from US 127, NS 142 returns to double track at Bowen

While waiting for NS 142 at North Wye, a Loram Rail grinder worked slowly up track one

NS 142 with PC 1073 passes the Rail Grinder and splits the signals at North Wye

Thats all for today! Thanks for looking!

Looks like you had a good day! I was stuck attending a anniversary party for my inlaws, and didn't make it out. I would have taken the PC over a room full of grumpy old folks :)

I really like the Palm shot.  The trees shot was interesting too.

Thanks guys! Sure was a fun chase! That tree shot came about when they pulled up a little too far for fuel. I was hoping to get the PC by the depot, but they decided to send it down the south main instead of into one of the east tracks and wait while 224 switched in the yard. All well, maybe another day.
