What a great trip to close out chasing trains in 2012! Beautiful weather, the Lackawanna heritage unit leading 117 southbound across the CNO&TP in daylight and of course seeing all the great friends that were also out trackside. A big thanks to Mr. Bell for all the updates on the train's progress throughout the day.

Image 1: 117 gets a signal at Bowen to start it's trip southbound across the 2nd District, this was the only snow we would shoot all day still hanging around from earlier in the weekend.

Image 2: After meeting a NB, 117 continues south across the trestle at South Fork.

Images 3 & 4: Framed under the aging Southern signal bridge at Kings Mountain, 117 continues south.
