while in l-burg today at a funeral, I drove around the tracks in  a few locations and saw a few odd sites.  One is about three flat car loads of preformed concrete, possible bridge supports? not sure?  and the other was piles of MOW material near the old button factory where the tracks have been paved over, Im sure before I get my hopes up they arent planning any lawrenceville branch revivals but hey, a guy can hope right?!  kept thinking I might run into salvisas' finest but no luck.  :-)

That OTM has been laying there at the end of the LL branch since they ripped the track up. The pile seems to get a little smaller everytime I see it thought. Revival..not Likely  .

"Salvisa's finest"  had me mowing, weed eating, hauling off trash and bringing in loads of firewood this afternoon.  I have plans of shooting the next two weekends to get some of the fall color (if it gets better this week) so working around the house today wasnt such a bad thing.

Can't remember seeing that scrap pile the last time I was at that former crossing in Lawrenceburg, though that's been over a year ago. I need to make it up there to that side of the NS Louisville Division...but I'll probably keep doing Buechel like I always do for some reason.
