Garland McKee of Lexington, Ky.

Has anyone either been in contact with, or know Garland McKee from the Lexington area?   Reason I ask is, I heard through the grapevine ( well through a local railfan from that area) that Garland passed away back in 1999.   I've been unable to confirm or dispute that from any other sources.  I hope it's not true.  He was quite a railfan, and very knowledgable on the Rathole.    If any of you have any information, I would appreciate it.    I used to run into Garland at Summerail, but have not been to that program since the late 90s.   Thanks in advance.

Garland is alive and kickin' and retired in Lexington.  He post's on Facebook regularly these days.

Butch....Thank you for the information.   I had noted an old obituary for a Garland McKee from Lex., who was listed as being 71.   I did not think Garland was that old!  glad to see he is still around.  Obviously the person who I had gotten my info. from perhaps was thinking of the "other" Garland McKee.
