Note - while not technically an NS train, Southern was a predecessor and 4501 should be running mainline trains next year.

Today I made a last minute decision to go try to catch Southern 4501 running on the Chattooga and Chickamauga Railway. It was sunny and I didn't have other plans in the morning. I left too late to shoot him on the northern part of the line, and ran out of time to chase him south, so I got him at one location, the bridge in Trion, GA. Here is the best shot from the series I shot. I'll be back out there again next weekend with more time to chase and shoot at different locations.
