On Thanksgiving Morning of 2013, Norfolk Southern 288 breaks the stillness of the morning as it crosses the seldom photographed Eagle Creek Trestle.

Sporting a fresh SD60E, Norfolk Southern 61A Starts its climb up the hill out of Cincinnati.

Well since Tyler threw out his Royal Flush with the eagle Creek bridge, here's my humble entries!

1) Northbound at Tennbridge September 2011

2) Northbound at High Bridge also September 2011

Here are my two entries!

1: Virginian 1069 leads NS 22A over the Shelbyville Bridge

2: Reading 1067 leads NS 55A over High Bridge

K8DTI

1) NS 264 at Bromley, Kentucky on October 30, 2010.

2) NS 591 with the LV heritage unit in it's first version crosses the Monongahela River on the Port Perry Bridge at Duquesne, Pennsylvania on May 20, 2012.

Erie under the Erie.
H13 is about to roll under the ex Erie Bridge that spans the ex LV main, which the train is on. In the distance the train is crossing Cayuta Creek and passing under INT86.

DLW on the DLW.
DLW 1074 crosses the ex DL&W bridge over the Susquehanna River in Binghamton, NY.

Now, this is hard. I have so many bridge pics I do not know where to start... so, after much back and forth... here I go.

Here we see the Interstate Heritage Unit roll overhead as a DPU on the old Virginian Rwy Trestle with catanery supports still alive... although no wires.  :(   DE Dan

Next up... A train waits in the middle of the night on the old Reading RR Lurgan Branch Bridge in Harrisburg, PA. It would wait for about an hour for a spot at the fuel pad... giving me enough time to set up the tripod and take a 30 sec exposure. DE Dan

Kentucky & Indiana Terminal RR

Here's mine, t19 with a standard cab 70 running through shelbyville ky by the stripped down remains of a church bell.
"The engineer in the old high cab his gold watch in his hand, looking at the waterglass and letting down the sand, rolling out on the old main line taking up the slack, gone today so they say but tomorrow he'll be back...."

And the "Dingling" bros circus train rolling thru south fork ky
"The engineer in the old high cab his gold watch in his hand, looking at the waterglass and letting down the sand, rolling out on the old main line taking up the slack, gone today so they say but tomorrow he'll be back...."

I'll kick in a couple of excursion photos.  First the OCS southbound going under the ridge at Keno.  And then 630 crossing the Tennessee River in Knoxville in the early morning haze.

E.M. Bell

Northbound NS 224 rumbles across the Green River Bridge at Southfork, KY in December of 2011, watched by a vacant old house that has probably seen more trains than all of us combined.

A pair of EMD's drag the Alcoa branch local over the TN River at Knoxville, TN framed by the concrete arched Henley Street bridge. The big orange thing in the background is the CSX KD sub bridge.  October, 2011

Bill Richardson

This is my contest entry.  I might enter another one I have.

This photo was made on film, in 2001.  The bridge is over the Cumberland River/Lake Cumberland, between Somerset and Burnside, KY.  Locomotives are: Conrail #2560, an SD70,  which became NS-2560, and NS-6652, an SD60.
