Memorial Day

This being Memorial Day week end I hope all remember those who have served our country. Most of the WWII and Korean Vets are gone and want be long we will say that about Vietnam Vets. So take time this weekend to remember those who took the time to serve out country. We are luck to live here. While this is a rail forum we also need to remember there were men and women from the Railroads who served and also don't forget the Rail Units. They are to often forgoten. Might also note we have men in women in harms way today. Most VFW and American Legion Post have services Monday. Stop in and find out. Some post are move active than others. Most of the members are to old to do much. If your parents served stop in and take part as a way to Honor them. Many post put flags on the graves of veterans. They might need help.
