Hey all,
I headed out a little today traveling over to Centralia and Hoffman, Illinois. I just couldn't pass up a day like today and not see some trains. So here you are and I hope you enjoy.

Hoffman, IL - NS local #D76

Hoffman, IL - Westbound NS #239 pulling out of Shattuc siding

Centralia, IL - Eastbound NS #223 crossing 5th Street downtown

Is this section of the line CTC or still TWC?

Nice shot of NS 223, hopefully he'll have that same lead when he comes thru the Louisville Dst in the morning.

The photo with #223 in it was BNSF trackage.  It maybe hard to tell but in the photo  you will see in the background an overpass, that is where the BNSF CTC begins.

Normally there would be BNSF locomotives pulling either #223 or #224, but today was different.  Rarely do I see a NS locomotive on those 2 trains.  It is always a colorful train.

What train is #25E?  I didn't stay for him but he was headed towards Centralia, IL, from New Baden (Eastbound) with #111 and #167 following right behind. It was busier than normal today.
