NS 96W LHF - Location is West of the Pope Lick Trestle and East of the Tucker siding. I don't know what it's called by the locals.

Bonus Photo - NS 3524 D8-32B

That 4 axle GE is pretty interesting. Is it a former CR unit?
Got questions? I can help you with the Erie Lackawanna (including predecessors), Lehigh Valley, Delaware & Hudson and the shortlines of upstate NY.

Scratch the bought by part I mis read the wrong caption in the 1982-1995 review  SOU is the owner or was the owner

From memory Southern bought the 3500 series about the time it merged with N&W. The first of them at least had Southern paint and markings.

NS purchased Dash 8-32B's 3522-3566 new from GE in 1989.  All were delivered in NS paint with SOU sub-lettering.

Southern Railway B30-7A1 units 3500-3521 were the last GE's delivered to Southern prior to the merger with N&W.  All were delivered in Southern paint.
