Photos 1 & 2 - NS 7711 at Whitner. Jennings Lane Intermodal Facility. 6 NS engines numbered 7711, 6779, 7608, 8904, 8426, 9039. Dropped off the stacks and ran just the power back to Youngstown Yard. The train stretched from the facility all the way back to GE Appliance Park Yard on the siding. NS 9034 is working the intermodal yard and GE Appliance park yard.

NS 6709 and 2617 ran light back to Youngstown right after this cleared. I was caught by the two engines at Six Mile Lane on the way back home. Couldn't get a photo out of the car window as people were turning around. They looked stupid when the train cleared before they were even completely turned around.

So I basically saw 8 engines pulling nothing today.

Nice pictures Ed. The six engines you saw was the power off of what was a tiny (5 cars) 22A that I photographed and took a video of in Bristol on the 29th.
