With rain in the forecast, I decided to head west this morning for a change on the Alabama East End toward Bremen Georgia. Didn't plan to be out all that long. I ended up spending a good five hours track side and was not disappointed with today's NS traffic. Especially since NS saw fit to send a south bound coal drag headed to Plant Wansley on the "C-Line" over the Bremen diamond. I was in Temple when the 600 crew toned up the dispatcher indicating they were about 12 minutes away from Bremen. After catching east bound NS 220 and local 25A I scrambled westward to the Bremen diamond.

NS 220 (DALLAS, TX (KCS IDAAT)- ATLANTA, GA) with KCS 4772 NS 9923,9533& 9431 east bound through Temple Georgia.

NS 600 Wansley coal drag with NS 1033 and 7607 leading this 7200 ft train over the diamond in downtown Bremen south bound on the "C-Line"

DP units 8130 & 7718 bring up the rear of NS 600 train.

Not long after the coal drag cleared the diamond NS 27A (BRUNSWICK GA VANCE ALA) rolled by west bound with CREX 1401 and BNSF 8106 leading

Earlier in the day I had captured these three west bound trains in Bremen
West bound NS23D (ATLANTA, GA - SHREVEPORT, LA (UP) with UP 4901 &4434 over the diamond at Bremen. Heard over the scanner the I2G crew saying that this is an "Extra" 225?

West bound NS 23E (ATLANTA, GA - DALLAS, TX (KCS IATDA2) with NS 9353 & KCS 4622 over the diamond in down town Bremen

AMTK 19 to New Orleans LA with # 132 & 147 west bound through Bremen Georgia

To wrap up the day I managed to catch these two east bound trains at Waco Georgia MP 687.8
NS I2G (LONG BEACH, CA (UP KLBNS) - ATL, GA) with UP 8791 & 7239 leading and DPU 7398 on the rear

NS A43 Anniston / Bremen turn job with NS 526 & 3318 providing the power.

Seen but no photos: NS A25 Douglasville Local with NS 3282 & 6081    NS24E with NS 8802, 9080 & 2631 @ over 9,000 ft.
Not seen but in the area NS 154 and NS 67M empty cement hoppers. It was approaching 3pm and this guy needed to head back home.
