Title: A RP Reject
Post by: NS2593 on May 26, 2009, 09:27:13 PM
Here's a shot that I like a lot but the screener's at RP don't like.
Reason for Rejection: Composition/Balance: The composition of this photo is poor relating to the overall balance of the image.

I'm not sure what they are looking for on this one, this shot turned out great in my opinion (which is the only one that matter's to me) though I would like to see it on RP if possible. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Looks good to me, tighter crop maybe?  It could be that the train trailing off to the left is obscured by the signal mast, who knows.

They probably don't like the "dead space" on the right side of the photo (I've been nabbed by this quiet a few times).   A tighter crop is what they are looking for.  Cutting down on the glare on the engineer's side would probably help too.

It is a very good shot.  Recrop it and try it again.
