Things at work have been kind of hectic lately, so I haven't had many chances to get out based on my travel schedule. Most of my trips have just been an hour or two here and there when I was in town and had a chance to get out.
On October 29 I had a few hours to get out and as my luck would have it it was the day that there were major signal problems. I did manage to catch a few trains after they got most of the signals up and running again.
My first catch was 218 at Eudy Road

Then I headed up to the Salisbury wye and caught the power for 135 making the turn.

I was out of town for a week, and while I was running errands Friday the 5th I managed to catch 290 at North Kannapolis for a couple of shots.

I was out running errands on the 11th when I ran across this guy.

If I would have gone the other direction I would have had a great shot of a former Soo unit second out on a train stopped at North Kannapolis. By the time I made it up there he was on the move after AMTK 79 ran South.
On the 13th I got a heads up that a Warbonnet was on the lead of 338 and they were in Rock Hill, SC. I didn't have much going on so I headed out to take a shot at catching him. It is hard to find a good spot to catch a North bound in good light, but I knew just the spot...
On the way I caught P99 heading South with Charlotte's pigs and stacks at Eudy Road with the last of the fall color.

And finally, I bring you to the best catch of the bunch.. 338 with the previously mentioned Warbonnet in the lead. The farmer crossing the field had to wonder why I was sitting there watching him eat lunch before the train came by.
