A pair of Blue SD60I's, A Spartan Cab SD60...and yea, a few fish as well. Sunday 10/11/09 was a decent day power wise on the CNO&TP and LS.. Enough jibber jabber, here are the pics.
First up was the first of Two 287's that ran in a 4 hour time frame. I knew from a heads up here on JREB that 287 had a pair of Conrail SD60I's, but this wasnt the one I left the house for. Confusing, but at least the Auto traffic seems to be up.
Here is 287-09 At Brown KY on the 1st District of the CNO&TP, passing the KU coal yard.

At least he had a somewhat decent looking GE on the point. 287-09 again as they leave the wye and turn West to Louisville.

As 287 went around the wye, Northbound Triple Crown 264 came flying by on #1 track.

Right behind the 287-09 was a short and sweet 375 with SD60 #6666 as the only power. Here he is leaving North Wye, headed for Louisville right behind the First 287.

The main reason we had went out was to catch the 287-10 with the pair of still Blue CR units. Later in the afternoon, we got our first look at him. 287-10 is seen here in favorite shot of the day, passing through Burgin KY as a fellow takes time out of his roof work to check the train out.

287-10 pulled up to the wye to change crews and get fuel, and while we waited NS saw fit to run the always hot 215 around him.

Not long after 215 cleared it was 287-10's turn to go West. We see him here leaving the wye, then over on the Louisville District at Vanarsdale.

8) Now, Big #6666 is still single-controller bi-directional long-hood forward...
...I see the horn handle...
Thanks for the review, Mr. Bell!
