Title: NS Research Train
Post by: Gage O'Dell on May 12, 2009, 04:06:30 PM
The NS Research train if you havent seen my other post was located at the old dorm siding at the Danville Yards. With NS 5609 and Conrail 6800 and NS slug 34. I had to get the pictures on the other side of the dorm due to the No tresspassing signs and a NS watchman  sitting right next to the train allowed me to get a picture on the other side next to the Mill.

There is a 906 Westbound on the Louisville District, and I would assume that is the Geo train.  Leaving the siding at Waddy and headed for Shelbyville at 1750

The 34 looked better with the plain norfolk southern lettering the white hoarse head logo sticks out on it
