Title: Gas: getting cheap again
Post by: cjr9703 on December 05, 2008, 10:37:06 PM
Well, I suppose that silver lining  I hear that comes with a recession is upon us... Oil prices have dropped down the john-- and well, hopefully they'll stay that way.  'Course, I don't want to jinx myself, but I read in the news that if a barrel of oil drops another $10, we could see gas prices plunge to $1 a gallon.

That'd be sweet...2008 and most of 2007 pretty much stunk.

I filled up my truck today (22 gallons or so it was) for 36 clams...almost makes ones want to go out shooting trains again.
