I live near Springfield, IL and never got to see 20A/21A. I think they were primarily late night runners. Were those trains usually pretty short? I assume they were since they were abolished. It sucks that 20T/21T are now being routed thru St. Louis. 20T was always a consistent early morning catch west of Decatur. I'm afraid the June flooding re-routes got someone thinking too hard at HQ.
The 20A and 21A were usually average size trains. On occasion, the 21T and 21A would get combined at Peru, Indiana. Normally, 20A would be to Logansport, Indiana somewhere between 8am to 10am with 20T somewhere after 4pm. The 21A and 21T times seemed to vary a great bit, but normally ran close together.

If 20A/21A had decent traffic on them, then this is a somewhat strange move on NS' part. Has there been any increase in the number of I0T's or I1T's lately to handle overflow?
I have only heard one I1T and no I0T's, but that doesn't mean that they haven't run though.
