I just love running at restricted speed through there with a 18,000 ton coal train.  NOT.

Two words...Switch Failure.
TB4JY, how many times have you had to be "talked by" the signals in Chatt?

I've been talked by Main Street about a month ago due to a switch problem, but that photo looks like East End (some people call it the "Camera").  Both interlocking's are back to back and have the same type switches.   At East End the best signal you can get is a restricting for both north and south movements.  At Main Street you can get an Approach southbound, but only a Restricting signal northbound.  The only time us Georgia guys go out there is to turn engines or get coal trains from "Shipps Yard".
