Title: First time I've seen this unit
Post by: Norm on September 07, 2007, 07:06:11 PM
I caught this peeking out of the shop at Corman's Cox Street yard one day earlier this week.  I was in a hurry and in the vehicle so I just grabbed my camera and snapped a picture on the run as I went by, so sorry for the quality.

What's the story behind this unit?  Any ideas what it was doing at the Corman facility?

Thats the GP9 that the Bluegrass museum had donated to them. Mid America locomotive did a bunch of work to it, including paint, before it came to KY. With BGRM's usual financial situation, makes me wonder if it was sold to corman. We will have to watch and see if it turns bright red anytime soon.
