Finally got out of the house after my foot surgery for a bit of railfanning last evening with a few friends from Cleveland and one who goes to school in downtown Pittsburgh. Met them at the west end overlook while they were waiting for CSX L261 to head west. Ended up with this shot.

then it was off to the elevated view of the OC bridge. this thing gets lit up no nice in the evening. if ya ever railfan in Pittsburgh, this is a definite spot to hit in the evening in the summer. We waited for 24m to head up the ramp to head across then east on the Mon line. as he starts across we hear another locomotive and wheel zinging as a WB autorack appears on the bridge at the same time. it was 13N. so we got a nice shot of a meet on the bridge.

and 24M again ready to disappear into the framework at the end of the bridge.

enjoy all.

Great shots!
Here are a couple of mine from Labor Day.
22V heading east through Emmaus, PA, This one had a nice surprise up front in the form of a former Conrail GP40-2 that looked great in fresh Horsehead paint. 8)

38G later in the day with another standard cab leading, this time a C40-8. I saw this train on Saturday with the same power, so this time I was more prepared and I got a better photo.
