I decided to not go home and go to bed lastnight. I got into Louisville at 0200 am. I got to Somerset about sunrise Friday. I ventured out by myself and realised a few things about early morning lighting in Somerset that I didn't know. As I was driving south I was noticing that the southbound traffic was not looking busy. But the former Somerset dispatcher found me some trains somewhere. I missed a few because the constant noise from the radio at work makes it easy to tune it out. I also stopped on the way from Louisville and hot a few night shots on the LS.

You and Emmett need to try to get out this way to shoot some UP and some CRANDIC. Or even some CN up around Waterloo or the BNSF around Davenport or the ICE. Or even on the way catch a little CSX at Danville, Ill.
