This June, my son and I are doing an extended and intensive railfanning trip to West Virginia, mainly to return to my old stompin' grounds around the New River district of the old C&O. Before heading back to Pennsylvania, we're going to make a detour to New Albany, Indiana, to visit with my older daughters and their families. This detour will go from Hinton, WV, down to Bluefield, and then over to Corbin and Danville, KY. It has come to my attention that a lot of the posters on this board hang around this area a lot. I'm hoping to bump into a few of you on our travels. Below is the portion of our schedule that passes through this area. If anyone can make any additional suggestions or definite points "not to miss" along our route, I would appreciate your comments . . . .
