It was a sunny day for my outing on NS today, that is until some high clouds filtered the sun. Can't control the weather you know.
Here is my rundown:
216: 9502/9360--both C40-9W's at Baker Lane, @ 0810am. An early bird.
167: 8204/8324--Shuttleworth. Nice to see nothing but all blue.
124: 9434/9418-N. Wye
375: UP 4767(SD70M)/9491--Faulkner Rd, waiting on outbound crew.
175: C40-8W Toaster, 6592, 5832(GP38-3 in fresh paint). Took off to DV to get a few shots of the Geep dash 3.
Then saw NS 25J pull up to fuel with SD70 2580 and SD70M-2 2743, and started chasing him to Talmage along with NS 375 laggin' behind him. They met NS 111 who ran into the hole. NS 111 had a flared SD70M 2643 leading and also had a whitefaced SD70M 2594 third from the front. Then "leadfooted" to Hogtown to catch 111 one last time before heading home.

Nice catch with that 167 and the 8204. Caleb and myself shot that engine a few years ago (at least I think it was that one..could have been the 8205) putting on a nice pyrotechnics show while working the East Yard in Danville.

I have a shot from August '04 of an 8200 working the East Yard, but don't recall ever shooting an 8204. But you know how my memory is sometimes... :P
Thank you. :)
Get your photos of these "legends" for they won't be here for long. ;)
