Wednesday, Penn Central and Illinois Terminal teamed up to bring NS 22A up the CNO&TP. I worked till 4am at the dorm and left for home for a few, and then made a mad dash for the Tennessee border. I arrived at New River disappointed that the top of the bridge was closed for unwelcome guests and stole a shot a friend took last week. After flying through Oneida trying to chase down 22A, I caught back up at Strunk. Luckily, he was slowing down for some traffic ahead which made an easy run to Parkers Lake. After staying in Burnside for two hours waiting for a crew change and then finding a northbound shot that would work.. I caught him again at South Fork and watched him rust to the rails at Palm for 3 hours, I made a decision to head for the hills after an all day chase of the lovely duo.
Below you'll find some pics from the chase, you can see the rest on my Flickr >> https://www.flickr.com/photos/46459752@N08/

Nice photos. I'm glad the NS is back to also using EMD power on the 23g/22a trainsets.
