Yesterday afternoon on the way back from TN, I went to the Burnside office to wait for a train that I had passed. Just after I got there, a train from the north pulled in and stopped. It had two yellow engines. The lead engine was NS-7289, an SD90MAC [SD90-43MAC I presume], still in UP colors. The other one was UP-4989, an SD70M. My wife and I both made a bunch of photos. Included here is one photo of the SD90, and one of both engines. According to the Wikipedia info on those engines, the SD90 is only about 6 ft. longer. When I see a yellow engine approaching, or near, I have to check the number. The model number is so small I have to be close to read it. I noticed yesterday that the extra length seems to be behind the fan section. Anyway, I was glad to be in the right place at the right time, when they rolled in and stopped. Lighting was good, and we got some good photos. These two are reduced to 750 pixels to fit here.

That pair of locomotives was spotted several times in upstate NY and northern PA recently. It's nice to see they're still together.
Saw some today through Bulls Gap headed toward Bristol.
