Well folks, worked called me in Wednesday night at 6pm and informed me that I was flying up to Hartford, CT Thursday morning at 6am. I completed my work project Friday afternoon and started looking around for something to do. Saturday morning I headed down to Essex and Old Saybrook, CT and paid a visit to the Essex Steam Train and a visit to the NorthEast Corridor for the first time. Photos are here, http://jreb.org/v-web/gallery/album65 .
Feel free to browse and comment. Both railroads were very impressive and I recommened them to anyone up in that area of the country. Just wear a jacket! :) And I apologize in advance for the lighting, it was early morning. I had to sneek into the Essex Steam Train to grab the photos, as the Thomas event was going on, but the folks were nice enough to to allow me to grab some.
