Title: T79 LHF w/ a few rarely seen geeps.

According to the nsdash9.com website 2844 is one of only 4 GP38AC units on the NS roster. 5195 should be one of the geeps that is ALWAYS out at the mixing center in Shelbyville Kentucky with the 5196 & 5194 units. Not sure which exact ones are out there. You'd think after seeing them almost every day for a year I'd remember.

Didn't know this was coming or I'd probably had a 15mm wide angle lens on to get a better shot of the engines as they went by. This was basically a park and dash grab shot. Spraying and praying with the shutter button held down.

Nice catch! Most of the high-hoods left that you see running are all of Southern heritage so I always enjoy seeing former N&W units still plugging along.
