This is "take 2", but shorter. I made a post earlier today, but had some interruptions and got timed out. Lost it. Never thought about that happening. I typed a narrative, and inserted a several photos. This time I'll just keep it very short.
Yesterday I went to the Danville, KY yard, and found CN-2466, blue, with BNSF-5532 behind it. The CN was getting fueled. I made a few photos.

After that train left, I did too. I went back after a while and waited a bit for something to show up. Soon a train came in from the north, led by SOO-6033, in red and white paint. The train stopped for fueling. I looked it up last night and learned that it is rare to see one.
Behind the SOO was ICE-6434. I made several photos of both, and waited for them to pull out in the clear, for better photos.

After that train left, I went back to the main area. Before long, a train led by
six locomotives, all black NS units, rolled in. That was highly unusual. One of those, apparently a recent acquisition, with hand-painted numbers, was NS-3506, an SD40-2. I looked up that one and found that it has a long history. Built in 1974 as MILW-202. It changed hands since then, to SOO, DME, HLCX, and now NS.

Also in that group of six was an SD60, number NS-6620. That, for me was unusual.

It was an interesting day at the Danville, KY yard, with sunshine.
