Title: Canadian National EMD on NS 229
Post by: Gage O'Dell on January 24, 2014, 02:41:45 PM
Well, for the 3rd straight day yesterday I was out playing in the snow. This time for a CN SD60 that was on the lead of hotshot intermodal NS 229... After Otto held it at High Bridge for 2 northbounds, the short pig train came flying through single track at Faulkner on its way toward North Wye.. A little luck was on my side yesterday. Another southbound was departing North Wye which made 229 stop for a bit, and also 229 had to stop for fuel at Danville Yard which allowed me to get ahead of it at South Danville.

Below are the 3 pictures from yesterdays event, as always you can go to my Flickr page and follow my photos if you wish.. > http://www.flickr.com/photos/46459752@N08/

After waiting at North Wye for a few minutes, NS 229 departs and heads toward Danville Yard

After fueling at the yard, NS 229 splits the searchlight signals at South Danville on its way south toward Burnside
