Post by: Gage O'Dell on November 17, 2013, 09:40:17 PM
11/16/13
Saturday Morning I set off for the PC 1073... Alas, OTTO would have it sit at High Bridge for over 3 housr, so I kept myself occupied with the random power NS had on that day.
2 CP SD60s and an ICE SD40-2 lead NS 376 at South Wye and at Faulkner

Faulkner

NS 264 flies past North Wye with BNSF and CN Power.. (Note the bottom left signal light on the searchlight in the background has blown out)

Finally, after waiting for several northbounds and 2 southbound intermodels to pass, NS 42G gets a light to continue southward as it passes through Burgin

Good stuff Gage..looks like we missed some cool stuff while playing in the rain with 630,

On the way home Saturday night...err...Sunday morning, I heard a train call North End and report that bottom light out at SJ, and that was probably 0030 or so. I cant believe it was not reported before then, as your pics show it was certainly out a long time before..

Nice catch with the standard cabs! They remind me of the joint CP/NS  operations in upstate NY... which often ran with a mixed bad of older EMD power a few years back.
