Title: Surprise Conrail on the CNO&TP
Post by: Gage O'Dell on June 23, 2013, 04:34:37 AM
Work had caused me to leave this chase early (and also OTTO ::)), so here are a few pics from it. My abbreviated chase started in Junction City with 797 hanging back before the Junction signals.

Conrail 8098 leads empty coal train 797 under the searchlights at Junction City

Obviously 8098 hasn't been washed since being behind NKP 765, the soot from the coal still clings to nose of the engine

Conrail leads NS 797 past South Danville

Great shots! They still haven't washed that thing?! I caught 119 with PRR and CR 3 weeks ago, and they were both nasty from 765. Birmingham washed the PRR...
