Title: CNJRR # 1071 in IL today
Post by: CQDX018 on March 13, 2013, 12:04:21 PM
Well the sun was out for once! I knew the crew was on duty at 2:40A.M. out of Beardstown for the U-MNUMIJ4-09A with CNJRR heritage # 1071 leading. They met quite a bit of traffic leaving them stopped in Litchfield more then 3 hours. Track speed is 40-50mph on the BNSF Beardstown Subdivision and it is track warrant controlled with all hand operated switches. Here is some shots from yesterday in Southwestern IL of the NS 1071 leading the crude oil to Saint James, LA.

Photo(s):
1. Central of New Jersey heritage engine # 1071 leads the U-MNUMIJ4-09A oil loads into North Litchfield, IL on 3-12-2013 in perfect sunlight.
