Sitting in my office at UK [at 3a on Sunday morning-a story no one wants to hear] I can hear a train blowing as it goes through the Lexington Yard.

In the IT world, maintenance and updates tend to be done after hours. We had some work to do last night to improve performance that took way too long because the performance was so slow...and then it didn't fix the problem so it told forever to the get the systems back up.
