Title: Lehigh Valley #8104 on train #748
Post by: CQDX018 on December 14, 2012, 08:46:59 PM
After sitting in Decatur, Illinois for two whole days for CN and UP traffic at Shay Mine in Carlinville, Illinois. The 748 was loaded with the Lehigh Valley heritage #8104 on point on duty at 4AM sharp with a departure time of 6M for Decatur, Illinois. I live in Staunton and chased it in decent light from Sawyerville to Blue Mound. The train wasted no time and did track speed all the way to Decatur passing 1 Southbound. Here are the photos!
