Title: A little original heritage
Post by: srman on December 13, 2012, 11:54:53 PM
Around these parts of central Kentucky NS trains lead by an SD40-2 is a rare occurance so when I heard
one getting a warrant with the 3315 I took notice. Fortunately this afternoon during my lunch break from work I was able to get T78 heading west by Clark Station,Fisherville and finally crossing Pope Lick trestle
as it neared Louisville.

3315 had spent a lot of time in the Newport local here in TN. The usual power is a high hood in the 3200-3300 series.

My partner in crime reported the other day that T-12 came out of Sevier with three former Southern Railway SD40-2's for power.  We both thought seriously about taking the afternoon off to go listen to the show.
