I dont have much time to process images from this past weekend right now, but I did a couple of quickies this evening. Here is a sneak peak at the 630 steam trips between Roanoke and Walton on Saturday 06/30. It was great to be able to steam on the main again, and a big thanks goes out to TVRM and NS for making this happen.
More (much more) in a few days. By the time we get back from North Carolina, I will probably have a months worth of processing to do!
Charging up the mountain Westbound at Elliston Virginia with the first trip on Saturday.

The West portal of the Montgomery tunnel. This was a must have shot for me, and the only place I got the second trip of the day. We got there early and camped out to make sure we had a angle...

For sure, for sure EB. But etalcos and I both admit we are a little biased. I wonder if we didn't wash it too good. I think the glare from the stainless is disturbing the white balance.
I really like that Shawsville shot EM. I was gonna get that angle yesterday but it is what it is.
Paul
Those are some nice pics.
Thanks guys..and yall did a mighty fine job of washing the car, but the glare is just my failure to go from a black engine to a silver car without compensating..the raw file was a bit brighter than what you see here :)
