Title: CR-Q on the Piedmont
Post by: Ptrainman on April 21, 2012, 09:44:11 PM
Had to go to Danville,VA this morning and decided to see what was running. Missed 158, 214, M94, 52Z, 189, and one other. Finnaly got the the tracks and found 194 waiting at Swann for 217 to come north. To my suprise it had a Ex-CR SD50 still in the CR-Q dress. Never thought Id see another before they where all black. It was smoking bad, even worse than the GE in front of it. These did not come out the best, because the ISO got hit on my camera and turned up to 6400. I doctored them the best I can, if anyone has any suggestions to make them better let me know. I could not do much with the shots of 217, plus there where poles in the way, so I did not post them. First 2 are sitting still.

These 2 are after they got moving, the more the engineer wound it up, the more it smoked.

My luck is not that good. But I was surprised, it is the first CR unit I have seen in about a year.
