Maybe others have this problem too... So, I ordered eight new coal gons(6 bethgons/2coalvayors) for my loaded and empty coal trains. Now they are complete... however, I was able to take four older hoppers off the coal trains and paint them for sand/gravel service. Well, now that I have four more cars for S&G... I need to cut in a switch at the sand and gravel place and lay about another 500 scale feet of track... And I thought I was just buying some new cars!!!!!
I showed this to my wife and she started laughing insanly. I said whats so funny ? She said You have a twin after all . ;D
At least we are not alone.
Yeah I don't know if this counts but ... they 1002 was that way for me ... along with EM and a few others that lil switcher was a fond memory and as I heard the ACe s were to be numbered that I quickly ordered one ... well after I painted and decaled it the real ones came out ... ISO cab ... Mohawk antenna cover a few newer doors and I was like damn I should waited now I havevto apply newer stuff ... now the NYC heritage loco is an ace ... guess what's getting painted ... I originally was going to paint it that way before I heard about the program so say Goodbye to 1002 AND hello whatever number ya are cause im waiting ...
