With all the snow everywhere but here ( not complaining ) lets see some snow pics. The Roanoke web cam looks like they are getting slamned. I know in Wise,Va they have several inches so far.
Carm and myself just got back home after a little 260 miles Sunday Drive. We spent the majority of the day working between Somerset and Whitley City, and bagged a bunch of trains in what was pretty much a blizzard. Heavy, wet snow and fog made for some awesome shooting....
Pics in a day or Two...time to thaw out.
Oh I can't wait. We went to Norton last week but just a dusting on the ground. I love those black engines and snow all around.
Here are a few that I shot tonight at Cluster Springs. Not the best but I did not have my tripod with me and the train was late. Supprised they made the grade at Cluster wiht the snow on the rails. They stall half the time on dry rail.

Here is a little teaser I worked up and put on Facebook a little bit ago. Carm and myself both have a metric ton of stuff to sort through, and will get the rest posted in proper fashion in a few days.
NS 114 at Parkers Lake KY this afternoon...and if it gives you any idea of how bad it got, the snow had just started in this shot..had been snowing maybe 45 mins at this point. It came fast and hard..

Very nice pics . Don't like driving in the snow but do enjoy the pics with Ns in the snow.
