Now that I have processed all of the "important" stuff (you know..steam!) from our trip to the TVRM railfest in Chattanooga last month, I have been working on the stragglers. Besides shooting all of the steam and passenger trains over that weekend, we caught a ton of the normal, everyday NS moves in and around Chatt.
Here are a few of those, and the entire set (including some groovy close up details and roster shots) can be found at this link. 32 new images.. http://www.pbase.com/kd4jsl/cs3rd11eb (http://www.pbase.com/kd4jsl/cs3rd11eb)

Awesome shots, Emit! Is it just me or was CSX really slow around Labor Day weekend? NS seemed plenty busy, but I caught very few CSX trains on the whole trip. I only caught one the whole 3 or 4 hours I was at Coffey's Cliff on Sunday morning.

I dont reckon I really paid much attention to CSX while we where down there (not that I would normally turn my head to see a CSX train anyway).. I have pics of Two with the 630 on different days...So they must have ran Two :)
The one I do remember was on Friday afternoon at CT tower..2 big GE's and maybe a dozen cars..guess that is a long train for them eh??
