Title: Colorado Railroad Museum
Post by: butch on April 11, 2011, 11:20:11 PM
For anyone who gets the chance, the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden CO is worth a couple of hours.  Here are some pix from my visit last week.  There is a selection of their steam engines; note the selfpic by 5629, I'm standing on the ties in front of the wheel.  They also have a lot of narrow gauge stock and one pick shows the third rail.  Of course they have a rotary engine and a turntable.  And in the caboose, I liked the ornate seat in the cupola.

Any idea what the two engines are in the stalls furthest to the left?

No, I was more interested in checking out the turntable at that point.
