Thanks to a heads up from Mr. Fury this afternoon, I managed to catch the Eastbound 906 with FRA test car #217 on the way home from work. They where testing, and the dispatcher was having a time issuing slow orders behind them. I doubt things will be moving fast on the LS for the next day or two, as there where a string of 25mphs being put out right behind this move.
It was nice to see the FRA get good power (no sarcasm intended!)..you cant go wrong with a pair of LHF geeps....
Here are a couple of pics, and a link to a short video.

"Slow orders". Going to be track side the next two days for that. Thanks for that info. I still owe you quite a few more heads up alerts.
Mr. E.M. Bell . . . .
Was there a second FRED on the trailing end of the FRA test car, or is the one mounted on the front of #5143 the only FRED on Eastbound #906? Note: The video doesn't show it either.
There was no fred on the rear end. Looking at the rear of that car, it may not be able to have one mounted there. Rules say ya got have one, might as well on the front I guess!
All kidding aside, I have seen that before on some locals ect. Not all that common, but it does happen.
