Many apologies for the lack of a photo contest for the past several months. There are many times when "life" just kind of happens, and this was one of those times. I have been busy taking care of the day to day for a while and I never remembered to post a contest until it was late in the month. Hopefully taking a little bit of a break will help freshen up things and bring about some new ideas.
Sometimes we curse the weather or a cloud for ruining a shot, and sometimes we look at it as a way to provide new opportunities or think outside the box. This month we will focus on less than ideal weather. Clouds, rain, storms, or anything else is fair game with the exception of bright sunny skies.
The contest is open for entries until midnight on the 30th and we will get the voting started some time in the next couple of days after that. All of the standard rules apply. Feel free to email or PM with any questions. We will take up to two entries per person.
Snow flurries quietly fall from the heavens as the distant orange glow of a late November, Saturday morning sunrise cloaks the Eagle Creek Valley. The quiet serenity is briefly interrupted by an early 282 as it swiftly heads north for Chicago.

Storm clouds roll in across the plains at Rich Valley Indiana as NKP 765 blasts eastbound towards Fort Wayne. Sometimes the clouds screw you, and other times, they help bring it all together.
