Gevo in a tight spot

I ventured forth yet again this afternoon into the madness of the 127 yardsale, after more good power. NS saw fit to provide a parade of Eastbounds, including 111 with a SD70M-2 and 167 with a ES40DC.  Click the thumbs for a bigger view.

NS 167 rolls through the tight confines of Downtown Harrodsburg Ky with NS 7501 leading. .  There are houses intown even closer to the tracks than this!  This is my favorite shot of the day...even if it is a GE.



Train 111 rolls through the Salt River valley at Nevin Ky, with a SD70M-2 on the point.




111 again, starting down through the big dip at Convoy..the LS is like a rollercoaster through this area..



One last shot of the 111 as it rolls through Harrodsburg..looks like Caleb is jogging along beside the lead motor there, going for that street running pan shot...
