Alabama Birmingham East End Trip Report

Was able to take some time and get trackside on Friday 12/26 and the weather and sky's were somewhat clear for a change. NS 172 (NEW ORLEANS, LA (UP QLINSL) - LINWOOD, NC) which most often runs into Atlanta in the evenings rolls east bound into Villa Rica Georgia with the NS 6710, UP3962 and NS 9749.

NS 220 (DALLAS, TX (KCS IDAAT)- ATLANTA, GA) at Temple Georgia with BNSF 4155 & NS2637

NS 24E  (DALLAS, TX (KCS IDAAT2) - ATLANTA, GA) at Temple Georgia with KCS 4706, 4035 & NS9026


Back on December 26, I managed to capture Georgia Division Carrollton local G67 was it shoves a cut of cars through the alley way and thick fog to the East End storage tracks at Bremen Georgia.


From December 14,
Georgia Division NS 600 south bound coal drag to Plant Wansley crosses over the Alabama East End diamond at Bremen Georgia with NS8093 leading 1013, 7707 & DPU8091

NS 153 (LINWOOD, NC - BIRMINGHAM, AL) with NS8841 leading clears the Bremen signal at the west end of the siding.
