I'm striking first before Emmett, Carmon, and/or TJ post their pix from today.  TJ was in for a taste of the
Bluegrass fall colors and some NS power and I caught up with them this morning south of Danville. Here are just some random shots from today; two SBs on the Lake Cumberland bridge, one from the US 27 bridge and the other from lakeside under the US 27 bridge.  The third pic is from Day Ridge Road just below the Cumberland Falls CP.

With Burnside once again jammed up [shocking, I know] I was able to capture a trio of 3-way meets:

from Cave Springs Road a creeping NB meets a SB autorack and the alleged architect of "Stonehenge"

from Garland Road, the same NB is within kissing distance of another NB that has been stopped at Tateville while the next SB starts up the grade

and from Day Ridge Road, TJ and Emmett check out a backlit NB.

Yeah, I know I was stretching things, but it was that kind of day.

How does he get to drive his tractor down there? If you were to stand there with a camera would it be a different story?
